     Large Horizontal Tripod Rigid Arm

This versatile tripod and rigid horizontal arm combination is ideal for product photography.  It allows any camera to be positioned in either the normal horizontal position or vertically for shooting straight down. It is study enough for digital SLR cameras but it also works well with compact digital cameras.  Because the horizontal arm attaches directly to the tripod's centre post the centre post can be raised an lowered. This makes for very quick height adjustments. Most tripods with built-in horizontal arms require height adjustments by lengthening or shortening the legs.  Cameras can be attached directly to the arm without the need for a ball joint or a ball joint can be mounted on the arm for additional shooting angles if required.

This is a serious tripod for the serious product photographer.  It is very large.

Which Horizontal Tripod Do I Need?

The Horizontal Tripod Rigid Arm has a fixed position and is therefore less versatile than the Horizontal Tripod Rotating Arm.  But the Horizontal Tripod Rigid Arm is much taller and so can accommodate much larger items (the larger the item, the further away from it you need to be to fit it all into the shot!).
