The Horizontal Tripod is a Professional Tripod with a Horizontal Arm.  Just like the CopyStand, it is ideal for photographing coins, postcards, stamps and other objects from above but the Horizontal Tripod, being much larger, is also capable of working with larger items as well.  This is the best choice if you have an SLR camera.

It works great for all kinds of large products, such as clothing (see our Clothing Photography Kits) but it is also capable of reaching the floor so it works well for small items too.  It has proven to be very popular for photographing all kinds of products and also for field work too.

This is a serious tripod for the serious product photographer.  It is very large.

With the Horizontal Arm in place it holds the camera securely facing downwards.  It can also function as a normal tripod with the arm positioned vertically, or it can be positioned at any angle in between for individual needs.  This versatile professional tripod can also be used as a standard tripod be removing the Horizontal Arm entirely and mounting the ball head straight onto the tripod.
