The Gemstone Circular Ring Light is a specialist product photography light that includes a combination of fluorescent lighting and LEDs to surround the gemstones in a circle of soft, pure white light, whilst also bringing out the sparkle of any gem. The answer is to shoot the silver jewellery on an illuminated flat panel. This gives a crisp edge to the item and eliminates shadows, whilst whitening the background and giving a clear contrast between the background and the item. Now we have a special Kit just for silver jewellery, with or without gemstones. It works for all silver jewellery items and also for other small silver or light coloured objects. It allows the photographer to control the lighting environment and to isolate the product from the background for a crisp product image and a clean, clutter-free background. It provides light diffusing properties, minimising shadows and reflections. The Cubelite has an open base to provide an even floor area. This feature also enables positioning over immoveable items such as plants. Plus, it makes it easier to fold than an conventional light tent. The Cubelite also has a unique front opening comprising a "T" shaped zipping arrangement, allowing the front to open up right to the edges for a wider viewing angle. With the front side closed, the zips can be closed up around the camera lens for shooting reflective products. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NEW Product Photography Courses Whilst our Kits are easy to set up and easy to use and most people find they are producing great product images in as little as 20 minutes, many customers have asked if we can run courses to help those who are totally new to product photography and to also offer some advanced techniques for those who have mastered the basics and want to learn how to improve and customise their images. These courses are also ideal if you would like to try the Kits out before you buy, offering the opportunity to evaluate the products and to try out all the different Kits and accessories to help you choose the best products for you. The way it works is that you book a three hour session and either come on your own for individual one-to-one training or the session can be attended by up to three people in total, all for the one inclusive price. Only those in your own party will share the session. Book your course and we will then get in touch to arrange a suitable date with you. Or call for availability before booking if you prefer. A three hour session costs £199.95 (one to three people) Attendees are encouraged to bring some samples of your own products to work with on the course. This means that you can try all kinds of different effects and choose the type of approach that you feel works best for your own products. The idea is that by the time you go home you will be confident enough to produce great product images of your own specific products yourself.
